This my newest RPG character Vinca, a rogue I'm playing in my husband's D&D 4.0 game. She is a rogue and a Woodborne, a race of spirits from the FaeWild that come to the mortal world and embody plants, spending time among mortals during adolescence to learn and grow.

She is a poisons and alchemical master, as well as an expert climber and cat burglar. She's also far more handy with a dagger than her enemies are comfortable with, not that they have much time to complain before the end. She has a nice knack for throwing the thorns the size of shurikens (which grow from her forearms).

She is incredibly curious and wildly spontaneous, known for doing crazy things on the spur of the moment and accepting new missions or adventures just to experience something new. (Her sense of mortality is not the same as ours, since she can only truly die on her home plane). Her manners and morals are also a bit skewed, though the former is partly because she outright rejects or pretends not to be aware of some social rules she just doesn't see the point in. Because of this, she can be very forward, abrupt, and not always respectful of personal boundries.

Thankfully, her larger companions have gotten used to being climbed like a tree and perched upon, or used for the tactical advantage of higher ground in battle... Aside from her odd manners she is good natured and high spirited. She holds to the very instinctive basics of right and wrong, not skewed by politics, law, history, or culture. The thieves guild she became a part of (she was literally born into the prime plane in their alchemist's garden) has an ethical bent akin to Robinhood, specializing in redistribution or wealth, undermining corrupt governments and assisting those who become victims of them all while turning a profit for themselves.
